Immigration Law
Immigration Law provides for the regulation of admission of persons to their residence in and departure from the Republic of South Africa in terms of the Immigration Act No. 13 of 2002, which regulates temporary and permanent residence permits, promotion of economic growth by employing foreign labour/skills, investment, training, academic exchanges and tourism. Immigration control is managed within the constitutional ethos of human rights protection.
