Consumer Law
Consumer Law and more specifically the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”) pertains to laws and organisations instituted to protect the rights of consumers, uphold fair trade and competition based on information that is true and in the public interest within the market place. A consumer is a natural person who acquires goods or services for personal use or ownership.
