Credit Law
Credit Law, colloquially is referred to as money lending and more recently synonymous with the National Credit Act No. 34 of 2005 (“the NCA”), promotes a fair and non-discriminatory marketplace for access to consumer credit and information. The NCA promotes responsible credit granting and use, thereby prohibiting reckless credit granting by financial institutions as registered service providers, debt re-organisation in cases of over indebtedness and debt counseling services.
