Labour Law
Labour Law in respect of the individual person at his/her place of work, is employment law and individual labour law which governs the employee(s) right(s) to and at work as per a contract (agreement) to work. Employment standards are social norms for the minimum socially acceptable conditions under which an employee(s) or contractor(s) shall and may work. The Employer organisation’s rules, regulations and procedures instituted to address breaches of contract, norms, practices which allow for grievances to be recorded, disciplinary and appeal hearings to be conducted and recourse to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (“CCMA”).
